Since a couple of years ago, the concept of Design Thinking (DT) has started making its presence in the corporate as well as entrepreneurship circles in Malaysia. The term ‘Design’ in Design Thinking (DT) creates the assumption that it is the exclusive domain for designer only but in actual fact, intuitively, all great innovators in literature, art, music, science, engineering, and business have used it in one way or another.
DT takes inspiration from designers’ work processes. The processes help us to systematically extract, teach, learn and apply human-centered techniques to solve problems in creative and innovative ways. This allows us to use it universally, in all our designs for solutions for social, business, communities and even in our lives.
World leading brands, such as Apple, Google and Samsung have adopted DT into their work processes; especially in innovating their products and services to meet the market’s dynamic demands.
This advanced Design Thinking course is meant for those who have gone through the fundamentals of design thinking and would like to take it further to lead and advocate change within their organisation using the design thinking mindset, tools and processes.
It is time to gather your avengers (heroes) and save the world (organisation). After all, complex problems are best solved collaboratively.
